Meet Our Staff
Meghan Lowe grew up in New York and graduated from Slippery Rock University in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Exceptionalities. She then moved to Bluffton to pursue an internship at Volunteers in Medicine. While there, she developed a wellness program for women aimed at promoting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Meghan joined the Pinnacle team in September of 2014. She is intrigued by the field of plastic surgery and all it has to offer. As our Front Office Supervisor, she expertly guides each patient through their unique cosmetic or reconstructive experience. She sees each day as a chance to support patients and help them realize a renewed sense of confidence.
Meghan also enjoys baking, shopping and playing with her puppy, Zeus. She loves to travel and is excited to continue exploring the Lowcountry.
Laura grew up in North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She has 4 years’ experience as a medical assistant in Dermatology. Laura is excited to contribute her knowledge and skills in a plastic surgery setting, where she gets to see patients realize their innermost strength and beauty.
Laura and her husband moved to Bluffton in July 2014, and they absolutely love the area! They enjoy fishing and taking their dog, Hailey, to the beach. Laura loves sharing surfside stories with her parents, who actually honeymooned on Hilton Head some years ago.
Cecilia was born in Jalisco, Mexico and came to the U.S. in 2001. She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate at Southland Nursing Home in Peachtree City, Georgia, where she worked for over four years.
In 2005, Cecilia started working as a Spanish translator for an OB/GYN in Atlanta, and 2 years later she was promoted to office manager. She was then offered the opportunity to manage a new OB/GYN clinic in Hilton Head. She served as the Clinical Manager for the Hilton Head clinic for more than 6 years until the office closed in 2011.
Upon moving to Hilton Head, Cecilia fell in love with the Lowcountry and its people. She became very involved in the Hispanic community, volunteering for health fairs as well as P.A.S.O.S., which is a March of Dimes program for the Hispanic community. Cecilia also served as a medical translator with Volunteers in Medicine from 2011 to 2013.
Cecilia’s husband is a local law enforcement officer and also serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. The couple has two beautiful children. Cecilia enjoys baking and reading. She loves her career and plans to continue her education in the medical field.
Mitsy was born in Acapulco, Mexico but grew up in the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry. She moved to Portland, Oregon to continue her education, but eventually moved back home when she realized how much she missed the beautiful weather on Hilton Head Island.
Mitsy has always been interested in skin care, which led her to work at a luxurious spa on Hilton Head. Always looking to broaden her horizons, she decided to pursue a career at Pinnacle Plastic Surgery. Mitsy is fascinated by the thriving field of plastic surgery and loves that there is always something new to learn.
Mitsy enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves getting lost in a good book, listening to music and dancing.
Coty joined Pinnacle Plastic Surgery in April 2016. Coty, a Georgia native, relocated to Bluffton in January of 2016 with her husband. Her beautiful daughter, Kelsi, is still in Georgia attending college in the Atlanta area. Coty has worked in other medical specialties and is excited to bring her many years of experience to the field of plastic surgery. Coty enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her fur babies, Dyson and Mo. Since moving to the area, she has taken an interest in kayaking and loves exploring the beautiful Lowcountry.
